"We made our way church to church with a similar pattern. We would survey the damage, pray with the people and encourage them. We would then give out medication to those in need and conclude by encouraging the children with balloons and smiles." - CSI at work...

9th Update for Haiti

3/12/2010

The team has had a wonderful time the last 3 days ministering to the

people of Haiti. We held clinics at Kenscoff, Bizonton, and POP.

The days were a mixture of medical clinics and humanitarian activity. We

have worked hand in hand with Missionaries Bro & Sis Brian doing great

things for the Lord.

We drove two hours to the end of a long mountain road where the breath

of God has kissed this land. We were at cloud level in the cool mist of

Kinscoff ministering in medicine at a place of no modern convenience.

Where the closest water is a 30 minute hike down the mountain slope. We

treated some 150 people. We passed out food parcels of rice to the

church and local villiagers.

So far, this CSI team has treated 414 people, distributed 750 lb of food

& hundreds of care packages. We have prayed for the sick. We have

demonstrated the love of God on the church and to the stranger on the

street.

CSI is ministering to scores of people daily. What you have given is

doing a work of compassion to the most needy area in the Western

Hemisphere. The people of Haiti tell you, "merci beaucoup!" .

Randy "Butch" Clark, RN, EMT-P

Without your compassion and financial support CSI cannot reach the thousands of hurting, destitute, sick, and unfortunate people that we have already reached. It's been your support that has made the difference, and will continue to make the difference.
